Dr. Jeanette and Bob Opperman co host a new show called Highway to Recovery which dives right into the hard topics; alcohol, drugs, heroin and addictions. Today's families and children are fighting to survive the effects of living in a world where anything goes and so have all the ways that life used to look like. We are being pushed to the edge of the cliff and many are choosing to exit via suicide and drugs. Families are crumbling and children are dying. Why?
Today's guest is Dr. John DeGarmo, a leading expert in fostering children that have had extreme life challenges in their short lives. Dr. John believes we all have enough love to heal a child's heart and bring them back into the fold and feel cared for if we just take a chance and reach out. There are thousands of children at risk just waiting for you to help.
For more information, google Dr. John DeGarmo and you will find his videos, articles, writings and websites with resources to get started in helping at risk kids.
