In this 16-minute episode, I share our monthly rest message. I explore perfectionism and share a bit of my story. I hope this episode supports your rest journey.

Fall Rest Reset Info: Caregiving is exhausting. Raising kids is exhausting. Caring for elderly parents is exhausting. Teaching is exhausting. Nursing is exhausting. Having a chronic illness and caring for yourself is exhausting.

Caregivers I see you.

I know your caregiving is rewarding and possibly part of your soul purpose AND it can be exhausting. Both can be true. I know making space to rest and leading a rested life despite demanding circumstances takes a deep commitment - a devotion.

That is why I support women in rest and creating more rested lives. There is never a perfect time to start claiming a rested life. I totally get that. AND that is why we just have to lie down and rest. Rest is a radical act in our society. So let's get reclined and rebel against capitalism, against toxic productivity.

Rest is your birthright.

The Fall Rest Reset is October 20-November 3, 2024. We will rest for physical exhaustion, mental exhaustion, and soul exhaustion. The invitation is to rest every day for 15 days. Days 1-5: practice the resting for physical exhaustion yoga nidra. Days 6-10: practice the resting for mental exhaustion yoga nidra. Days 11-15: practice the resting for soul exhaustion yoga nidra. Each yoga nidra is 20-30 minutes. Short rest practices will be provided as an alternative for those days when you are unable to commit to 20-30 minutes of rest.

The yoga nidra recordings will only be available October 20-November 3, 2024.

In addition to the pre-recorded rest sessions, we will have an opening call on October 20 at 10AM MT and a closing call on November 3 at 4PM MT.
