Manage episode 320492597 series 3316820
“Trauma in a person over time can look like personality. Trauma in a family over time can look like family traits. But, Trauma in people can look like culture.” --Resmaa Menakem, author of 'My Grandmother’s Hands'.
Trauma is the lasting mental, emotional, and physical response that often results from living through a distressing event. In this episode, we continue our werk in To Heal A People's Ring 1 of our 4 Ring System of Healing: Healing the Self.
