Robert Robins is a goldsmith and diamond setter who specialises in bespoke jewellery. Over his 24 years of experience he has gained a massive wealth of knowledge, across all aspects of the industry. Starting as an apprentice making cups of tea, getting any time at the workbench he could, he eventually was trained in optical diamond setting by the worlds best in Antwerp for 4 long months.
He also has qualifications in diamond grading and gemmology, amongst other things related to jewellery design and manufacture. He has written articles for trade magazines, and been a guest on the professional jeweller podcast.
