In this episode we speak with Canadian ultra-runner Dave Proctor author of the book Untethered: The Comeback Story of one of the Longest Fastest Runs in History. In 2022 Dave ran across the entire length of Canada in 67 days, averaging 105.3 kilometers (65.4 miles) per day!

About Dave Proctor

Dave Proctor @runproctor is an ultra-runner from Alberta Canada who in 2022 became the fastest person to run across Canada. He started in Newfoundland and ran to Victoria, British Columbia – a distance of 7,159 km (4,448 miles).

He currently holds Canadian records for the longest distance run in 24, 48, and 72 hours, along with a world record for the longest distance run on a treadmill in 12 hours. He is the father of 3 children and works as a sports massage therapist.
