Dr. Leah Bortnick PT, DPT completed her physical therapy training at Creighton University in Omaha. Prior to pursuing physical therapy she was a disaster relief planner for 10 years with a veteran led non-profit where she felt the call to serve as a humanitarian and as a physical therapist.
Mild traumatic brain injuries (also known as concussions) are not uncommon in the veteran and first responder community. Dr. Bortnick is part of Project ECHO, an interprofessional, international concussion consortium which receives and shares updates on the latest evidence-based medicine and treatment.
