Gian Marco is the president of CASCO Safety Group (Central America Safety Company), Central America’s leading distributor of specialized industrial safety and rescue equipment. He is the President of Café Las Flores, Nicaragua’s finest coffee company and leading integrated specialty coffee brand from plantation to retail. He is also present in the commercial real estate development space with Centro Norte and Entheos Centro Corporativo, both in Managua.

He promotes responsible business practices as a board member of uniRSE, Nicaragua’s CSR catalyst. Current and past board positions include Fundacion Cocibolca and Paso Pacifico, two of Nicaragua’s leading biodiversity and environmental actors. Gian Marco is a CALI (Central American Leadership Initiative) Fellow from the Aspen Institute and part of the Aspen Global Leadership Initiative. He was named to the BMW Foundation’s inaugural class of Latin American Young Leaders Forum.

He graduated from the Georgia Institute of Technology in Atlanta, Georgia, in 1997. Since then, he has graduated from the Entrepreneurs’ Organization’s EO/MIT Entrepreneurial Masters Program, multiple INCAE executive programs, and Anthony Robbins’ Mastery University. He was the first speaker in the inaugural TEDx Managua event in 2012.

Gian Marco is an active member of Entrepreneur’s Organization (EO) and founding member of the Young President’s Organization (YPO) Nicaragua Chapter, where he takes active leadership roles. He currently resides in Managua with his wife Marcela and three children.
