Chigan-kutsu Kyo-On Dokuro Roland Jaeckel is the Abbot of the Zen Studies Society in New York and of Charles River Zen, a Rinzai Zen community practicing in the greater Boston area. Chigan Rōshi received inka shomei, Dharma Transmission, in the Japanese Rinzai Zen Hakuin lineage by Shinge-shitsu Roko Sherry Chayat Roshi.
