However, a devastating setback occurred in 2004 when he broke his back while attempting an astounding 1,100lb squat.
Facing the grim prognosis of never being able to lift heavy again, JL embarked on a global quest to defy medical expectations. His relentless determination and thirst for knowledge led him to discover unique methods that ultimately enabled him to reclaim victory by winning a world championship in the deadlift in 2014.
