Let us know what you think of this episode!

Kathleen Belonga is a yoga and mindfulness teacher who specializes in small group classes, primarily for women who are in their second phase of life. She shares her expertise mindfulness and meditation techniques in this episode with us while expanding on emerging scientific data that supports the use of meditation to create quantifiable psychological and physiological changes that move the balance of the mind and body towards wellness and away from disease states that are commonplace in our modern world. Kathleen simplifies the practice and breaks it down for beginners who are just starting out with a meditation practice and leads us in a brief meditation at the end of the episode. Kathleen imparts that integrating self care practices like mindfulness and meditation do not have to be complicated or time consuming and if you’re willing to begin the journey, the benefits of creating new healthy self care habits can be noticeable right away once you tune in and listen to the feedback your body is giving you.
