When I tell my clients that they get attracted to the type of person they expect, NOT the person they consciously WANT - they look at me like I'm crazy.
The truth is, your subconscious mind governs 95% of your actions, including the choice in partner.
AND on top of this, the subconscious mind is always looking to heal and solve an old wound, through the person or situation in front of us.
This means that if you fear (wound) you are not good enough just the way you are and you have to work hard for love, you will be attracted to someone who has unattainably high expectations - who may sometimes make you feel like you're enough but you have to work for it.
This is the way the subconscious wound is trying to heal itself and resolve the pain by "being good enough" but expecting "I cannot be good enough as I am".
Here I talk about the paradox of why you get attracted to the person who evokes your wound, and how to start taking steps to solving this internal wound independently with clarity and focus.
