On this episode, It's me, hi! I briefly discuss the history of fad diets and the science of healthy eating patterns. The stigma discussed in this episode revolves around the origins of fad dieting and what you can do today to ditch the diet and create eating patterns that work best for you.
Dieting can be an incredibly sensitive and tough subject to tackle. It can relate to many other topics that this podcast aims to discuss like societal standards, disordered eating, physical and mental health, body image, and so much more. This discussion just scratches the surface of dieting and aims to open up discussion on what a healthy "diet" really is.
DISCLAIMER: I am not a licensed medical professional. I do however hold significant experience to add to the discussion of these topics by bringing forth the conversation to end the stigma related to nutrition as a whole. This podcast is not intended to treat or diagnose an/any individual.
