Just like Shel Silverstein’s classic children’s book “The Giving Tree,” the Baobab tree just keeps giving and giving. A “lost crop” known locally for its many benefits, Dr. Luc Maes is a naturopathic doctor on a mission to bring it back. His company, KAIBAE, is focused on offering Baobab-based beauty and wellness products, encouraging the growth and development of this incredible plant, and providing economic benefits to the African communities that grow it. Dr Luc's research has taken him to study plant medicine throughout Africa, Central and South America. We dive into what his company is doing and how he’s working to change the habits of people around the world.

  • The way KAIBAE is empowering economies
  • The benefits of Baobab fruit
  • Getting people into a preventative state of mind
  • Changing people’s daily habits
