Episode four sees Chris interview Louise Hamer, Deputy Designated Nurse for safeguarding children and children in care.

The pair chatted about Louise’s innovative research project aimed at preventing children from entering the criminal justice system after seeing first-hand the violence some of our community's young people were being exposed to.

The Solutions trial, funded by the Youth Endowment Fund, is being delivered by our Liaison and Diversion team who work with hundreds of young people aged between 10 and 15 years, who come into police custody in Lancashire. It’s about showing them there is an alternative future available, one that is free from violence.
