When you think of your “mental health” do you think about your actual brain? Today’s guest, America’s #1 Brain Psychologist says that you should. There is much more that encompasses our mental health than we think and she is here to tell us about the importance of the brain in our mental health journey.

Dr. Catherine Jackson uses a holistic approach when serving her patients and believes that we should look at our health from an individualistic standpoint. She says that although we are not taught to consider the brain when thinking about our emotions, we are holistic beings and the way she approaches therapy is one of many ways that we need to be educated on.

Today we dig into the development of the brain, the importance of learning life-skills at an early age, why we need to express our emotions in order to heal, and the power of our words on our psyche. This is a must list interview for anyone who is looking to level up their mental, emotional, and even psychical health, because like Dr. Catherine says, “You cannot separate mental health from overall health.”
