In today's show we dive into a topic that affects the majority of the population, including yours truly. Imposter syndrome, or as I prefer to say imposter thoughts. Imposter thoughts are thoughts that regardless of your achievements, you think you are not good enough. Often you feel like a fraud and fear others might find out.
Imposter thoughts will never disappear, but you can learn to reduce their impact on you. In the episode I offer strategies to help you do just that. A key thing to remember is your thoughts are just thoughts, they are not facts. Learning to see them as such can support you in moving forward and regaining your self-confidence.
Key Topics

  • The benefits of low-level imposter thoughts. (07:51)
  • Strategies to help reduce imposter thoughts. (09:14)
  • Why acceptance is the most important strategy. (17:04)
  • A key question to ask yourself if you're experiencing imposter thoughts at work. (19:46)
