Often seen as the father of humanistic psychology in the UK, and one of our most incisive writers on ‘the transpersonal’, in this interview the late John Rowan (died 2018) discusses the whole notion of integrative psychotherapy practice and psycho spiritual models and levels of consciousness.
Well known in the psychotherapy environment for his work on Subpersonalities, his other books are ordinary ecstasy, Healing the male psyche, Therapy as initiation and more recently, Personification: Using The Dialogical Self In Psychotherapy and Counselling
The interview took place in John’s house in Chingford North East London.
