-Stephen has returned back to a fruit diet to calm down his hyperthyroidism. -What is Alzheimer’s Disease? -One type is failure of the frontal lobes, which are the window to the rest of the brain. Is Type 3 diabetes of the brain. Number 1 causative factor is sugar. Also pesticides, herbicides, glyphosate, heavy metals. -Stephen has a free Mercury Detox Protocol report on what products to take to remove mercury and other heavy metals. -Another cause is poor circulation to the brain. Niacin gives temporary improvement to circulation, as well as cod liver oil, flax oil, Vitamin K2, and the BEMER device which produces frequencies to improve microcirulation. Nitric oxide removes existing plaque, although calcium still stays bound to the arterial wall unless also using Vitamin K2. -Benefit of Vitamin K menaquinone-7 over Vitamin K menaquinone-4. K2+ contains Vitamins A, D, and K2 (as MK-7) and will release uncarboxalated osteocalcin. Need the synergy of all 3 vitamins working together. Uncarboxalated osteocalcin improves glucose tolerance and boosts testosterone production. Need K2+ on a daily basis. Prevents osteoporosis of the jaw bone which leads to gum recession. -Difference in yellow milk from totally grassfed cows vs. white milk. -Dr. Mary Newport’s husband had Alzheimer’s. Marked improvement from first giving him coconut oil (which is 60% MCT), and then MCT oil. It’s an alternate fuel for the brain. People with Alzheimer’s have a progressive inability to use glucose, but no impairment in the ability to use fats to make ketones. Use a combo of coconut oil and MCT to get the longest sustained effect. -What role does sleep play? We need 5 stages of sleep over 7 1/2 hours. From 10:30 to midnight is the repair stage, when we’re supposed to have the deepest sleep and produce growth hormone. Middle stage, then REM towards the end. REM is when short term memories get stored into long term memories. Insufficient sleep impairs memory, but it doesn’t mean you’re creating Alzheimer’s. Synergy One helps people with insomnia have better sleep. Blue light tells pineal gland not to release melatonin. Using Blue Light Therapy from 7:30-9:00 pm tells your body to store melatonin, so it can release it at bedtime. See Awakening from Alzheimer’s material.
