We come back from the hiatus ready for the new year with a bang! On this episode we recap year of allegations and crazyness in the chef world. We are humbled to be joined by multiple time James beard Nominee, and Top Chef contestant Chef Tyler Anderson from Millwrights and Cook and the Bear in CT. Also we update you on the status of Plums Food Network show and talk a little about Restaurant Road Trip! Chef Tyler Anderson In 2012 Tyler fulfilled his longtime dream of becoming a restaurant owner, opening Millwright’s Restaurant and Tavern in Simsbury, Ct, where he crafts inspired New England Cuisine. Now as the Chef/Owner of Millwright’s and the newly opened TheCook&TheBear (BBQ) in West Hartford, Ct.. Tyler and his talented culinary team continue to draw inspiration from locally-grown ingredients and artisan-produced foods. They also can and preserve summer’s harvest at the peak of its freshness for use during the winter months. Tyler and his team received perfect reviews for Millwright’s from The New York Times, Connecticut Magazine and Hartford Magazine. Tyler was also named Chef of the Year for 2014 by the CT Restaurant Association. Tyler has also been nominated four times for The James Beard Foundations Best Chef Northeast Award (2014-2017)
