The 80/20 principle states that for many outcomes, roughly 80% of the effects come from 20% of the causes. This means that a small number of inputs can often produce a large amount of outputs. When applied to all areas of our lives, we can see that using the 80/20 principle can boost productivity, and happiness, and improve our lives overall. This week, episode 199 of the Positively Living Podcast is about using the 80/20 principle to leverage a better life!
In this episode of the Positively Living Podcast, I’m sharing where the 80/20 principle originated from and giving you actionable steps to take right now to apply this principle in your daily life.
I cover the following topics:

  • Where the 80/20 principle originated and examples of where it takes place in life.
  • Ways that you can apply this principle to various areas of your life to boost productivity, learn and grow, and be happier.
  • 3 simple steps you can use to make the 80/20 principle work for you.

Ask yourself: What do you have in your life that feels like too much and feels like you’re not getting the results you want? And how can you apply the 80/20 principle to it?
