A recent event happened that caused me to pause my work and be there for my family. This challenged me to walk my talk, redefine what it means to be productive at this moment and in this season of life, and practice compassionate productivity on myself. This week, episode 189 of the Positively Living Podcast is about why compassion is essential to be more productive!

In this episode, I share how I’ve come to teach what I once needed to learn, guiding clients with compassionate productivity, and I offer you actionable steps to take right now to seek more compassion so you can avoid burnout.

I cover the following topics:

  • The physical and mental benefits of compassion, both inward and outward.
  • 3 types of compassion (from the author of Mindful Compassion, Dr. Paul Gilbert).
  • Reframing our idea of productivity in order to achieve our best work.
  • How energy management is a key part of compassionate productivity.
  • Who compassionate productivity is meant for.

I encourage you to embrace more compassion in your life. Think about the types of compassion and check in with yourself to see where you need support and focus.

Thank you for listening! If you enjoyed this episode, take a screenshot of the episode to post in your stories and tag me! And don’t forget to follow, rate, and review the podcast and tell me your key takeaways!
