Have you ever felt really stuck? Like you’re trying to accomplish things but they just aren’t happening for you? Perhaps it feels like you’re struggling, you’re underwater and you’re trying to catch a break but you can’t get to the surface. Today, Kristy Jo explores how to shift your approach so that you learn to speak with and befriend your fear.

Eleanor Roosevelt told us ‘do something every day that scares you.’ As you take that advice and start doing the scary things you are going to make progress in your life. But you have to befriend fear.

In this episode, Kristy Jo also shares the story of the most fearful moment of her life, and how she learned how to master her fear in order to accomplish her goal. She explains that getting to the logic behind the fear and giving your brain the evidence it needs for reassurance, is how you get to the heart of the fear and can move past it.

Look at the scary thing that you need to do, that you know is the one thing that is going to take you from where you are to where you want to be. What needs to happen? Break it down. What is the fear trying to get you to pay attention to? What’s it giving you evidence of?

Once you can get to the logic behind the fear and give it evidence that you’ve already addressed it, that’s when you get to the heart of it and you can move past it. So today, write the email, make the phone call, have the conversation. Ask yourself what it is you need to overcome that one fear that is holding you back. Go and power your life today!
