There's no doubt about it! Renee Jennings has a passion for food...Renee is a Registered Prenatal/Postnatal Dietitian and together with her lovely friend Georgia, an English Teacher and mumma, founded Nurture the Seed , which aims to educate and empower women who are trying to conceive, pregnant or in their postpartum. The current Australian guidelines for pregnant women are somewhat outdated. Renee and Georgia are constantly baffled at the misinformation and over-caution that has been associated with pregnancy nutrition. So, their goal has always been to build upon current guidelines with evidence-based research, helping mothers eat nutritious food with confidence.
Nourishing women in their fourth trimester is paramount and something that Renee and Georgia are extremely passionate about. Their book Nuture The Seed is set to be released in 2022 so stay tuned as there is SO much goodness and guidance for all mummas. You'll find nutritional advice and wholesome recipes for the preconception, pregnancy and the postpartum journey. Renee and Georgia ultimately believe that women should feel empowered when entering such an important phase of life.

Nurture the Seed takes a 'wholefood' approach to pregnancy nutrition. They encourage the consumption of minimally processed foods that are dense in nutrients in order to fulfil the heightened dietary requirements necessary for growing a healthy baby. Our bodies absorb nutrients best when they come from real every day food. It’s about going back to basics and nourishing both baby and mother in the most simple and effective way. Being informed will provide peace of mind and the ability to make educated decisions during this remarkable adventure. As they both say- every seed needs nurturing!
