Horses have a healing effect on our minds and bodies. They teach us how to be aware in the moment, to pay attention to what is, and deepen our listening skills. Their soulful presence has the capacity to ease our anxieties, calm our mind and bring us reassurance that all is good and well. As Winston Churchill once said, “There’s something about the outside of a horse that’s good for the inside of a man.”, a quote Queen Elizabeth was very fond of.
