Cultivating a Healthy Relationship with Our Inner Masculine
Manage episode 388686542 series 3386336
How do you view men? If you were truly honest with yourself, what is your first thought?
It is so common for women to look down on men. To see and view the masculine as something that we deeply desire but equally, something that we have marked in our minds as completely unsafe, untrustworthy and disloyal. Yet A HEALTHY masculine is a lover, a provider, a protector, the healthy masculine supports the feminine and does not abuse it.
So how can we start to shift the narrative to see the world, and see our men through a more accepting lens? To see men as beautiful humans full of integrity and loyalty, who deeply desire to love and care for us?
On today’s episode, I talk to Katie Lynn, the incredible woman behind The Embodied Queen. Katie Lynn is a psychotherapist with a master's in Social Work, she has worked with millionaires, CEOs, and entrepreneurs as well as having spent 10 years in the criminal justice system working in the highest security unit to help transform women's lives.
Katie dives deep into sharing with us that it is our work on our OWN relationship with the masculine energy that lives within OURSELVES that will support us in cultivating strong and healthy relationships with the men in our lives.
We cover:
🦋 HOW TO CULTIVATE a healthy relationship with our own internal masculine
🦋 How to support yourself to truly SURRENDER to live freely
🦋 What happens when your values do not align with your ACTIONS and how this impacts your growth
🦋 The one piece of advice that Katie would give to her 18-year-old self that we can ALL benefit from
…and so much more
