Do you tell yourself and others that you're a people pleaser?

I hear people equate being people pleaser to being a nice person, a decent friend, a kind person, a loving, caring human being. All of these are lovely things, but I would argue that you can be every one of those things without having to label yourself as a people pleaser.

What You Will Learn In This Episode:

- What's wrong with being a people pleaser?

- How to stop being a people pleaser

- How you could describe yourself instead of saying I'm a people pleaser

- Rethinking your values and setting your boundaries

- How to get comfortable with feeling uncomfortable

You can have boundaries and say no to the things that you neither have the time or the energy for and still be caring. You can be authentically you without offending other people. Stop giving yourself the 'I'm a people pleaser' label and choose something more empowering. Remember that every time you say yes to something, you're saying no to something else.
