Tavia Jackson hails from Charlotte, North Carolina. She joined the United States Marine Corps (USMC) in 2000 with a MOS in Supply. While in the Marine Corps, she obtained multiple medals, including one for her involvement in Operation Iraqi Freedom 2. She completed 8 years of service and transitioned out of the military as a Sgt. She is a graduate of Elon University in Elon, NC. Elon is where she met her husband, Derrick 24 years ago. They have been married for 17 years and currently have the joy and honor of raising their son Kincade, who is 13 years old, daughter Zoë who is 10 and Creed who is 3 years old. Mrs. Tavia Jackson has worked for large financial institutions in technology for the last 20 years.
As a sought after Makeup artist since 2010, Tavia is a respected Entrepreneur and “Beautypreneur”. A “beautypreneur” is one who organizes, operates, and/or owns a business that focuses its efforts on physically, spiritually, and emotionally beautifying their communities and the individuals that reside in it.
In 2021, Tavia and her husband began a gourmet popcorn store in Concord, NC. Tastebuds Popcorn Concord has over 200 flavors of popcorn and ships all over the United States. As CEO, Tavia enjoys a business that “adds more fun” to any event. Derrick and Tavia have been featured on FOX, NBC, CBS, Spectrum news, various Youtube series, former-pro wrestler Nikita Koloffs “Man up” Podcast, and other shows.
