On this episode of Solid Podcast, Brandon Neil and Jeff Fieldstad interview Brock Harris and his father Todd Harris. Todd, a former professional minor league baseball player, talks about how he has encouraged Brock to be a leader and to always be the last one to leave practice. Brock explains how this has helped him build relationships with his teammates and quarterbacks, and how it has helped him become a better player. Todd is proud of his son and is open to allowing others to pour into him.
Todd also talks about how he sent Brock's highlights to Football University, and how he was surprised to find out that Brock was better than the other kids who were already signed by Georgia. Brock is preparing for college football and is focusing on molding himself into a tight end type stance, gaining weight, blocking bigger players, and improving his agility and coordination. Todd and his wife have been married for 23 years and have never had a fight.
They discuss the father-son relationship, golf, and the fundamentals of god and freedom. Brock has a great relationship with his coaches, and Todd is open to their advice and guidance. Todd is proud of his son and is open to allowing others to pour into him, which shows his character and willingness to put his son's progress before his own pride.
