Subsequently, your partner demands an apology from your children regarding such behavior. As you brushed off the request saying, “They are their own families now”, your partner became more aggressive demanding you have your children apologize or a divorce is forthcoming. You’re taken back, can’t believe what was said, but within two weeks later received the divorce papers. You now feel threatened of being under attack.
