That's great to say that but what the hell does it mean, and particularly, what does it mean for us Atypicals and Neurodiverse people? We all have our different shit and how can we figure out what works and doesn't work? Well, on today's episode we will be discussing just that with our guest, Heather Drummond, a Naturopath and Holistic Nutritional Consultant, out of Moncton, NB.
- Food really does impact the way we feel and how our brain works
- Food has changed dramatically and dynamically over the last 70 years and more profoundly in the late 70s, early 80s when fast food hit. MacDonald's anybody?
- Stress + poor diet = illness in weak spots in the body so on a neurodiverse scale the weak spots could be how the brain operates and how the digestive system operates
- Weak spots could be headaches, pain, gut problems... inflammation causes weak spots and is affected by what we are putting in and on our bodies
So join us on this week's episode of "The Atypical Leader" and find out how you can be in control of how good you feel and how well your brain operates just by changing your eating/drinking habits. Fingers crossed it doesn't mean I have to cut out my red wine!
