Nicholas Lezard, writing for The Guardian, described Bethany’s latest book as 'poetry as salvation'.....'This harrowing collection drawn from a youth spent in an orphanage delights in language as a place of private escape.' Bethany has been writing for Comic Watch for four years. They are a lifelong comics fan. They currently live and work in China with their two-year-old son, their spouse, and their bizarre little dog.
