🌱 Let's tap into that whisper you're not listening too?
The term Sankalpa comes from Sanskrit, an ancient Indo-Aryan language. In Sanskrit, Sankalpa is derived from the roots "san," which means a connection with the highest truth, and "kalpa," which means vow or intention. The word is commonly used in Hindu, yogic, and Vedic traditions to describe a deep and heartfelt resolve or intention. Sankalpa is often associated with setting positive and purposeful intentions aligned with one's higher self or spiritual path.

Unlike common New Year's resolutions that often focus on external goals, a Sankalpa involves a deep exploration of internal and spiritual commitment - it encompasses the whispers of your soul!

Your intention truly emanates from the depths of your heart, revealing your true essence and aspirations. When crafting a Sankalpa, it's vital to express it in the present tense to instill belief and commitment.

In the practice of yoga and meditation, many practitioners find the inclusion of Sankalpa to be vital. This powerful tool is often repeated during moments of meditation or as an integral part of a mindfulness routine. By doing so, it serves as a beacon of guidance, allowing individuals to remain steadfast in their pursuit of inner growth, personal development, and spiritual enlightenment.

So what's your Sankulpa? Message me because I would love to hear about it!

❤️ Love you so big,
~Jennie
