The Gifted ND career path is not an easy one. In the system, we are marginalized. We are not allowed to learn in the manner we naturally learn. We are not allowed to work in the manner we naturally work. We are not allowed to create in the manner we naturally create. This exhausts us mentally and emotionally. We end up disillusioned, mentally and physically damaged and we all to often die younger for it.

In the past, we left the system for self-employment, coming in as outside consultants, specialists, and subject matter experts. But this is increasingly becoming harder to do. In order to compete with large companies and their substantial advertising budgets, we must become one ourselves. I propose we create a guild, a guild that will represent our creative best interests. Much like SAG (The Screen Actors Guild), we must create one for Gifted Neurodivergent intellectuals and artists alike. Only then will we finally be able to have the power that allows us to live and function in a healthy manner. We need an organization that recognizes our different ways of being and doing, one that provides us with basic human needs such as insurance, supports living wages for us, and protects our right to a work-life balance. We keep hearing that creativity is the future, but it won't be for those most creative unless we figure out how we function best and start making sure we are allowed the space to do so. We have been separated from each other for far to long. Now is the time to change that.
The Creative Threshold Theory

This very inaccurate assessment of our ability to be creative for those with an high IQ. Somebody should fire this guy from existence for the hack job he is doing to those smarter than him.
