We tend to think when we finally climb and conquer the mountaintop that all of our problems will be solved. However, while we achieve our goal, it's only the beginning.
NFL players mentor Will Davis joins the gr@titude podcast to discuss how to continue to grow after achieving your goals. Davis grinded through every possible level of football to achieve his dream. After playing just one year of high school football, he battled through junior college, Division-II and Division-I football, then was drafted by the Miami Dolphins in the 2013 NFL Draft. Not the most ideal hand given to a player.
After becoming the top one-percent of football players in the world, his career was cut short to a major injury. Davis says it was just the start of his journey. He dives into the mindset being a high achiever, how to be authentic, choosing your identity, and finding new doors for opportunity after achieving your goals.
He's making his way back into the NFL but for this time something different. Helping others create their own journey. The average career span for NFL players is just three years, so Davis is taking on the responsibility of a mentorship role for players after the league.
Davis is a father, husband, chess aficionado, amateur golfer, and champion of people. He can be found on Instagram @willdavis and Twitter @WillieD_effect
