Put your hand on your heart.❤️

Breathe in.

Breathe out.

Close your eyes👀, and take in the world around you.

Maybe you’re sitting next to a loved one🤗 and can sense their presence.

Maybe you’re out in the sunshine🌞 and can feel the rays on your face.

Tap into your emotions in this moment☝️ and how they are affecting your heart health.

For the month of February, we have been exploring the physical💪 and emotional😊 habits around our heart health.

This week, on Episode #88 of the Habit Thrive Podcast, we are rounding out our month of heart healthy habits with some habit hacks🙌 to manage our emotions.

One of the most important things to remember is that even if a habit hack works for someone else, it might not work for you.🤔

And that’s ok!😉

All techniques do not work for everyone in every situation, so it’s important to know what works for you!

One person might find a heart-happy moment in a hug from a loved one.🥰

Someone else might prefer a quiet moment🤫 to reflect on the morning/day/situation.

So, what are some tips to finding your mojo when it comes to heart health hacks?

  1. Practice gratitude every morning, as soon as you wake up.🙏
  2. Stay mindful throughout your day about how you’re feeling😕 and if you want to stay in that emotion or switch out of it.
  3. Dig a little deeper into your emotion🤔 and find your cue>routine>reward sequence
  4. Take some breaks to simply breathe.😮‍💨

Once you have hacked into your emotional heart, you can share those healing thoughts of love, compassion and gratitude with the world🌎 around you!
