Habit Thriver, I have a question for you ☝️:

What do you envision for yourself over the next year? Five years? Ten years?

Have you ever really thought about it?🤔

For me, I really started to think about and plan for this in 2009, when I crafted my first vision statement for my life.

I knew even then that I wanted to live my life teaching and helping others to be their best selves.💪

And as the years have gone by, and things have evolved and changed - as I have evolved and changed 🙌- so has my vision statement.

And, probably in the next few years, it will change again. Or at least get tweaked a little bit.😉

On Episode 66 of the Habit Thrive Podcast today, we are talking about how having these vision statements as a reminder of our goals for ourselves is a fantastic way to choose - and make a practice of - habits that support that vision.🧐

Maybe your personal vision is to focus on your health.

That vision might prompt you to:

  • Start meal prepping each week🥦
  • Set up routine doctor appointments and testing👩🏼‍⚕️
  • Join a gym or walking group🚶🏼‍♀️

Making and keeping these habits may even lead to you discovering a new purpose or vision for yourself.

You might develop a love for cooking and start a blog to share your favorite healthy recipes.

Or maybe your walking group turns into a running group in order to prepare yourself for your first 5K.

It’s your vision and your purpose.

Own it!👊
