I had the opportunity to sit down and visit with Kara and Jen a few weeks ago on the back-end after my recent 50 miler to chat with them about their own 50 mile adventure. What started as a challenge ended up being a massive accomplishment for the two of them. Their journey lead them on a discovery to find their true heroes and inspires an entire community to help them get across the finish line. Their friend even agreed to film the entire training process from start to finish in a documentary called Road To 50 miles. It was an OFFICIAL SELECTION at the LA Femme International Film Festival this year.
