No one gets anywhere without great leadership. It’s one of the most important skills and qualities necessary to bring about a better lives, better businesses, better communities and a better world. Unfortunately, leadership is also a skill that is on the decline, and isn’t taught or focused on quiet as much these days. For this week’s episode of Triple P Life, we take a look at the importance of leadership, how to bring it back in our culture, and why great leadership leads to a better world.

Dr. Jay had the great fortune of being joined by not one, but two amazing guests for this episode. Joe Judge is the President at Clear Possibilities, and Michael Merrill is the Chief Medical Officer at Brook Health. The two met a few years back when Michael heard Joe speak on the topic of leadership, and was so compelled by what he heard that he struck up a conversation afterwards that would lead to working together to co-author a book on leadership.

During the conversation the trio discuss why leadership needs to be developed at a young age, how we can redevelop a culture of leadership in our country, examples of great leaders in history and fiction, some sample ideas from their book, and more!

Mike and Joe’s book, Leadership Is Overcoming the Natural: 52 Maxims To Move Beyond Instinct, is available on Amazon.
