In this episode, Stephen talks to Jack Gray, the founder and Managing Director of FOMO Technology. It’s a Northern Ireland-based IT support and services company, and Jack has over two decades of experience in the industry.

He’s committed to providing businesses in the region affordable, customised, and personal IT support. Jack won the “Solo MSP of the Year" award in the recent SuperOps MSP awards.

Jack tells Stephen about how he got started in the industry and why he set up his own business. He explains he found out about the awards, the process of applying for them and what the win means for a solo MSP business like his.

He shares honestly about the challenges he faces running a solo MSP and the successes he’s had in business so far, and what the obstacles to growth are when you’re a one-man band.

Stephen asks Jack for his predictions for what’s next in the IT industry, and also for FOMO Technology. Plus Jack shares his advice for new solo MSP owners, especially if they’re entering awards competitions.
