Poem: All of these thoughts going around in my head
Manage episode 418261115 series 2933501
I often re-read past poetry, particularly when I'm looking for guidance, today I reflected on one I wrote over a year ago, number 295, and the words spoke something that I needed to hear, maybe there’s also a message here for you. I invite you to close your eyes, listen to the words, feel, hear and witness what surfaces.
All of these thoughts going around in my head A merry-go round as I lay, still, held by my bed I contemplate on what direction to take ⇆ I make up ideas of what could be I explore every possibility I like to control, you see Mould the world to my own A Queen, sitting on her throne Oh, if I had known back then what I know Now That it's life that shows me the how Through feeling Through dreaming What if I stopped believing that I have to figure it out? What if I lived from listening to my body? Responding Belonging What if I could see clearly? Without projections, perceptions How then, would that feel? To see what is real Not how it should be What if I followed serendipity? (?) What if in, only trust, all my needs are met? The more I don't fret The more I am present, here & don't question Plan Many oceans I've swam To learn... demand of life Not, to demand of life But, to listen to it as a silent guide Speaking to me through inner sight Reminding me of the light
Who's source is only inside.
