Vaginal dryness is a common and often under-treated condition in women. It is not always a benign condition, since it can lead to vaginal atrophy, urine leakage, increased frequency of urinary tract infections, pain with intercourse, and other problems. Vaginal dryness needs to be routinely screened for and adequately treated. In this episode of the Functional Medicine Podcast we explore the causes of vaginal dryness and offer up some therapeutic options for women with this condition.
