Dallas picked our first music album to discuss, the 1972 album by the hugely influential and batshit crazy German prog-adjacent/experimental band, CAN.
We discuss the recording of the album, CAN as a whole, then go track-by-track through the album. At the end, we each pair it with a wine as best we CAN (sorry not sorry.)
THE WINES!
Bodegas Los Bermejos Listan Negro Rosado,
Lanzarote, Canary Islands
("Rosado" is what the Spanish and the Italians call their rosé, which are often distinct in flavor from other rosés because they're made with rare indigenous varieties.)
Wine Searcher
Vivino
K&L Wines
Nibiru "Grundstein" Gruner Veltliner, Austria
Sourced from two prestigious terraced vineyards, both around 25-30 years old, this wine is made exclusively from whole clusters, 50% skin-fermented for five days in stainless steel with native yeasts.
Our bottle purchased via Pharmacie du Vin in Los Angeles
