We are pioneers of a new movement of conscious, evolving, and open-hearted Homo sapiens, defying the old paradigms and binaries and awake enough to walk beside each other as we change the world forever. I want to help men to remember that there was a time when they were free, when their noble Shiva voices rang out like nightingales against the tremors of a palladium welkin.
Did you know, the idea of gender clothing is fairly new. Skirts and frocks once worn by men allowed them to move with fluidity and freedom. Long gowns and full-skirted coats with or without embroidered ornamentation was an acceptable and fashionable part of men's wardrobe until the first half of the 20th century. Shirts were the practical dress of our most ancient civilizations, on both sides of the gender binary. Fluent cloths worn as wraps, sarongs, dhotis, kurtas, and loincloths, togas were replete among men of all social stature. Short skirts among soldiers were considered proof of virility, and allowed for swiftness while in combat. Male attire was dominated by short hemlines paired with stockings worn as outer leg wear which showed off their well-formed, muscular legs......
Listen In~ a brilliant session by the one and only, Maya Toward
