Yoga practice with Caitlin Rose Kenney: This generous Yoga Sesh is an invitation to take an archaeological dig into your own inner landscape and re-remember that you have the desire and capacity for both inner connection and connection with the outer world. The class begins with breath awareness and slowly intensifies into a Vinyasa Flow sequence that will open your hamstrings and ease you into external hip rotation. The last 20 minutes are dedicated to yin postures so that you can sink into meditative depth and your own rich interior. Suggested props: 1-2 blocks and a bolster Moves & poses to know: Reclined Pigeon (Figure Four Pose), Malasana, Virabhadrasana 1 (Warrior 1), Parsvottanasana (Pyramid Pose), Standing Figure Four, Parsvakonasana (Extended Side Angle), Virabhadrasana 3 (Warrior 3) with airplane arms, Revolved Standing Figure Four, Half Dragonfly (a Yin Yoga pose), Saddle (a Yin Yoga pose) and Legs Up the Wall.
