The R in PROMISE for recuperation. This is our rest and recovery. The time to step back from exertion, from stimulation, from work, technology, and even people and outside energy and influence.

Taking a break/recuperating is so important, and yet we are so wrapped up in human Doing that even in our relaxation time, we are not BEING restored.

Recuperation requires a stillness, peace, sleep, mindfulness - this is about self-care and definitely a pillar of health.
