In the first of a three part series on psychedelic ceremonies and therapies for treatment resistant depression, anxiety and PTSD, we interview Drew Bankey from “Sacred Journeys Within”, an Ayahuasca ceremony he leads in Colorado. Drew shares his experience in the military and the impact of two tours in the Iraq war had on his life as it resulted in PTSD, suicidality and loss of purpose until he met Ayahuasca. Drew and his family were on a recent episode of the TV show, "Homestead Rescue" and got help to build a place for visiting PTSD survivors in their remote location in Colorado.
Co-host Rob Wreford is a sceptic and shares his opinion after the interview and Greg and Rob describe the next episode in the series on psychedelic therapies and ceremonies.
