Today's guest is: Kristine Jenson
Kristine Jenson has been practicing yoga and meditation for over 30 years and learned the art of mala making 10 years ago. As friends and family began to ask Kristine to create malas, necklaces, and bracelets for them, she decided that she should explore the idea of opening a business. Not wanting to be just another commercialized business, she meditated on the idea of how to make it something more meaningful. The message she received loud and clear was to make the business be about her beloved niece Devon, who died from a heart defect in 2003. Since she opened Jenson Natural Jewelry in 2017, she has been able to share Devon’s story worldwide and has created a legacy in her name by donating 10% of her business profits to Children’s Hospital in Devon’s memory as well as to other non-profits that Kristine cares about. She has been able to take the heartbreak of losing her niece into a company that spreads hope and love to the world. www.jensonnaturaljewelry.com
