In the intricate tapestry of human experience, there exist moments that leave profound imprints on our souls. These moments, often distressing and overwhelming, are what we collectively refer to as trauma. In this episode of 3-21 No Kiddin', my guest discussed different things that can help you overcome or heal from your trauma. We'll also learn some facts about trauma.
So, join me as we dive a little deeper into trauma.
Our guest for today's 3-21 No Kiddin' podcast episode is Nicole Thompson. She is an education consultant, author, speaker, mentor, and retired school psychologist. She has also served as an early intervention therapist and adjunct professor. Nicole is the creator of Reverse the Adverse, a trauma-informed care training for educators and mental health professionals that work with urban students.
During our chat, she discussed:
  • the trauma-informed education
  • recognizing childhood trauma
  • what to do about trauma in kids
  • the importance of parent-school communication
  • the impact of trauma in children
  • microwave society
  • how to heal your trauma
  • and many more!

Whatever you go through, you can heal from it. Our bodies are meant to heal. We're hardwired to heal. Don't let it change you and run you into addictions. You can do this. Always remember, YOU ARE NOT ALONE.
