Often when doing couples recovery work, the approach is from a neurotypical lens following betrayal trauma and sex addition. This may work for many couples, but what about when these approaches aren’t working for the long term healing of the relationship? Many couples share that it can be frustrating and discouraging especially when both partners in the couple ship desires growth and change. We are going to be talking about another lens and perspective to consider when one or both partners are autistic, have Asperger traits, or wonder if they may be on the spectrum.
