Danielle is a regular Super Feeler who suddenly disappeared for 9 months. We were worried about her safety, having no success at reaching out. Until 9 months later when Laurie got a DM on instagram saying "if you ever want to record an episode about what it's like to have BPD in jail let me know". And so this episode was obviously recorded asap.

In this episode Danielle bravely shares her story of what it was like to go through the criminal justice system with borderline personality disorder. She shares about the lack of medical autonomy and privacy she faced and how she started running mini DBT classes in jail to support others like her. (aka Super Feelers: Incarcerated Edition).

This episode has a number of triggers including: medical harm, systemic discrimination, overdose, and solitary confinement.

Also please excuse the issues with audio quality - Laurie was on vacation and turns out her internet was really bad...
*** quick fact checking note: around the 19 minute mark Danielle says she's talking about the 14th amendment but it's actually the 13th amendment. Sorry about that!
This episode featured Laurie Edmundson who previously was a co-host of this project. You can find her at https://www.laurieedmundson.com and on IG @laurieanned where you will find ways to access The Super Feelers Club and other projects she works on.
